The Heart of Newcastle is flat yet a lot of the shopping on the main street is inaccessible to those in a chair, if you’re after somewhere to shop try heading to the Charlestown Square AKA “The Square”. However if you’re after a view while you eat something the Newcastle foreshore is beautiful and completely accessible.
